MOU with NFC Institute of Engineering and Fertiliser Research


Govt. College Women University, Faisalabad, and NFC Institute of Engineering and Fertiliser Research signed a memorandum of understanding on July 6, 2023 in committee room GCWUF. Prof. Dr. Robina Farooq and Prof. Dr. Najaf Ali, Directors of NFC-IE&FR, signed the MOU in the presence of Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zil-i-Huma Nazli, all the coordinators, Director QEC, Incharge ORIC, Director Media cell, principal officers of GCWUF, and other signatories to the MOU from both sides. This agreement letter was also signed by Registrar GCWUF Mr. Asif Malik and their counterpart Mr. Shabeeb Ahmad Gill NFC-IE&FR, Provost Hall Council Prof. Dr. Saima Akram, and Senior Warden Hostel NFC-IE&FR Syed Shamim Raza. Dr. Saima Tehseen secretary requested that Prof. Dr. Saima Akram give a concise introduction to the MOU. Following this, Dr. Najaf Ali, Director of NFC-IE & FR, expressed his views and discussed the common areas of collaboration. Finally, Prof. Dr. Robina Farooq, Vice Chancellor of GCWUF, expressed gratitude. Under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Robina Farooq, Provost Hall Council Prof. DR. Saima Akram took the initiative to join hands with a prestigious institute in Faisalabad, NFC-IE&FR, in order to nurture future development projects between the institutes. The memorandum of understanding between these institutes represents their shared objective and aspiration to collaborate and advance educational and scientific endeavors. This partnership between GC Women University Faisalabad and NFC Faisalabad aims to promote academic and research excellence, gender equality, and the development of the local and global community by leveraging the expertise of both institutions. The agreement will facilitate the promotion of educational and research fields, the acquisition of additional technical assistance, and the promotion of resource and facility sharing among the parties. The signing ceremony concluded with the expectation that in the near future, more avenues of collaboration and coordination will be paved.
